Weirdly my biggest problems was the awful new outfits that seem to exist because they had outfits in p5. And the new voice actors. Most did a great job but i did miss the old cast.

Persona 3 Reload is literally Persona 5 clone. All the dark atmosphere and tone replaced with flashy atmosphere and tone. It would be fine if it were some fan made game to begin with. As for voice acting? After hearing Ken,Fuuka and Akihiko's voices, I can see very little time and effort went towards voice acting. I guess Sega looked at Final Fantasy VII Remake and thought "hey they replaced the old actors with new ones and lets do it with both Yakuza and Persona 3." One important message to SEGA. If something is not completely broken but needed minor patches here and there, dont throw it away. Fix it instead

This game has been pissing me off playing through for the first time as Nero and I love it. I’m playing these games start to finish in reverse and I am seeing why they got so popular. I have to finish this and one more to go before I hit what everyone calls the shitshow that is DMC2…wish me luck.

Came to watch this because I'm almost done playing Shin Megami Tensei V Vengance and while it's an amazing game, in fact its become one of my favorite RPG's of all time, I didn't feel the need to want to play the predecessor. Thank you for the story insight!

I admit that I've never played these dancing games, but I have listened to the soundtrack and saw the dance moves for all the characters. I completely agree with your assessment of the amount of effort put into P4 compared to the rest. When you see the P4 cast dance you can instantly see how their dance styles are connected to them. Kanji would breakdance, Naoto is the type to have masculine and precise hand movements, and Yukiko, being the elegant one would practice ballet. However, and the other two they feel tacked on and weirdly out of sync to the soundtrack. Ryuji looks like an awkward hype man, Morgana lacks movement variety, and Haru seems to be practicing ballet because her character mentioned that she did in the base game.

The best gameplay in the series but the games have lost their edge story wise.

When you said that YHVH Universe was your favorite dungeon I physically recoiled. That dungeon alone made me lower my score for the game by about 2 points. What an absolute horrid experience.

P3 FES is my favorite game of all time, my younger brother missed the boat and refused to play it because he hated not controlling party members. So I got to see him experience the story firsthand while he got to experience me complaining and nitpicking the entire time. I finally convinced him to try it with a controllable party member mod so we will see what someone who plays the games in reverse thinks about the story. I had fun with reload, but I didn't finish it and don't plan on it. It isn't what I wanted and clearly wasn't made for me. I instead started another FES run lmao

I appreciate you talking deeper into the religion and racist undertones from ffx, this game turned me away from being another wakka myself. Taught me to branch away from family and religion that was creating hate in my soul. This game changed me for the better.

I think Vengeance does a good job fixing a lot of the issues with V, but I’m personally pretty excited to hear your take on the matters as someone who’s played more than just V and has a history with the series beyond V

as much as i hate the change in tone it was obviously intentional since persona appeals to a wider audience now. what’s funny is that some parts of SMT V had an “eerie high school” setting that actually reminded me a lot of og persona 3 so atlus is obviously still capable of making something like that

My party throughout reload was Junpei, Yukari, and Mitsuri and I’ve only ever changed that unless I needed too, I liked having Junepi to be the buffer while Mitsuri my magic attacker and Yukari being my healer. This might have not been the best party choice (My first persona game) I genuinely have had a ez time through my normal playthrough

Dante acts like a complete badass in this game because he knows it. Nero acts like an angst teenager who is forced to be around people.

Personally, I think that we should get a dmc game every console gen, giving the game designers enough time to flesh it out, while also giving us an expectation on when. Also, I hope the next dmc game is available for ps5.

This video is really good, but honestly cant help but have a sour taste in my mouth because a lot of the things you said feel like this remake is bad because its not like how you viewed and because it has influences from persona 5 It just feels like complaining because its not the same as the original, its like saying persona 4 doesnt have an identity because its built off p3 in a lot of areas, i dont understand whats with youtubers saying this is a bad remake because it doesnt feel like their vision of what persona 3 is and use their experience friend circles experiences, the whole point of the remake was to modernize p3 to make it more playable and have more people love it and while i think they could've done it better what would be the point of it if they just kept everything the same? Even the ai controlled party members with no option for commands like in fes, some of the things were logically removed because times changed, even if they had a reason to be there (Forced Ai party members and the fatigue system) It feels like a huge switch up having so many videos saying "actually this is a bad remake" and while i dont think theyre bad (a of them were really good), it just feels like complaining because it wasnt what they think is persona 3, therefore its a bad remake and some of them claim they know more abt p3 than anybody, a lot of them just feel disingenuous. Reload doesnt invalidate any of the other versions, its just different, just because its different doesnt mean its a bad remake, and while i think it could've been a lot better in some areas i dont think not having things that were in the original make it a bad remake, hell, id say people should also play the original + portable if they tried reload because all p3 games are their own thing in a way Nonetheless i think this video is genuinely really good, even if i have my issues with it i enjoyed it quite a bit

I've come to really love your videos and content for Persona so I've been waiting for this *Akihiko voice* Weirdly makes me sad you didn't enjoy this one as much but not a criticism to your likes or not as everything has been explained so well in the video. I think I am almost lucky I never played the original game! Persona 5 remains my favourite of the series but people are getting burnt out from it and I feel it's tainting people's opinions of it. The sooner Persona 6 is announced the better! Thank you for all your content Nam!

Love how he just doesn't acknowledge emulating the original p3 p3f or p3p as an option. It is logical that the game is going to feel completely different because 17 years have passed since the original. Most of the original developers would have probably quit by now. Trying to make it feel more like persona 5 is what killed the mood.

I disagree, this little video of yours won't change my opinion and if you didn't like persona 3 reload or persona 5 then I suggest you don't even buy persona 6 and forget about this saga
